- The idea of limiting Tweets to 140 characters is annoying in and of itself. I normally don't care what my Facebook 'friends' are up to, but I really don't care what they're up to if it can be described in 140 characters or less.
- In Tweets, there are far too many strange symbols and abbreviations. I'm not even talking about shorter terms now, but that will come later. 'RT @leepender despises #Twitter #rant #moron' seems like a jumble to me, but that's how most Tweets seem.
- This is more of a general criticism of social media, but it certainly applies to Twitter: I don't want to have to deal with 800 different messages. There was once a fantastic thing called e-mail, which allowed individuals to communicate in writing and receive and send messages all in one place and through a single interface.
