Choose a photo for your profile.
Choose Settings from the drop-down menu.
If you have more than one microphone device attached, select Audio & Video Audio Microphone.
Automatically modify microphone settings - If you turn this on, the volume of your microphone will be automatically adjusted. When you turn this off, you can manually change the volume of your microphone.
Noise cancellation - For Skype calls, adjust the Noise cancellation setting.
The following are the alternatives available to you:
Auto (default) - The Skype programme adjusts the level of noise reduction in response to your surroundings.
Low - Low amounts of persistent background noise, such as a computer fan or air conditioner, will be muffled. However, if you want to share the music you're listening to, you can use this option.
If you have more than one speaker connected, choose a different one.
Select this option to test your current speaker volume.
Unmute for incoming calls - Toggle this On or Off to choose whether you want your incoming calls muted or unmuted.
