• Your Telegram account is linked to your phone number, and everytime you need to sign in to a new device, you'll receive a one-time code. You can create a password in addition to the one-time code using two-factor authentication. To log in to your account, you'll need to input both. Here's how to set up Telegram's two-factor authentication:
• Telegram is now open. On the left, select the Hamburger menu.
• Make a selection of options.
• Go to the Privacy and Security section.
• Select Two-Step Verification from the drop-down menu.
• Set the password by pressing Set Password.
• Put in the password you'd want to use.
  
• Confirm the password's validity.
• Give your password a clue.
• Include a recovery email address. If you forget your password, use the code given to your email to reset it.
