Steps to activate and use vertical cards on Microsoft Edge:
- Click the three horizontal dots in the top-right corner of the window to open Microsoft Edge.
- Then select Appearance from the drop-down menu.
- Click the Show Vertical Tabs button's On/Off slider to the On position in the ensuing window. Your tab list will show on the left side of the window at this point. A new button will appear at the top of the tab sidebar, along with those tabs. You can transition from the vertical tab UI to the conventional UI by clicking this small black tab symbol (with an upward-pointing arrow).
- Return to the Vertical Tabs by pressing the same button again.
- To enable vertical tabs in the Edge browser, click the vertical tabs symbol next to the first tab from the left.
- Click the horizontal tabs symbol to turn off vertical tabs or return to the default horizontal tabs.
