Steps to unfreeze my Firefox browser:

• Hardware acceleration should be turned off.
• In Firefox, clear your history.
• Click the Open menu button in the upper right corner of Firefox and select Library from the menu.
• Choose History > Clear Recent History from the drop-down menu.
• To clear a time range, go to the History section and tick the choices. Then, to finalise the procedure, click OK.
• Upgrade to the most recent version.
• Add-ons should be turned off.
• Your graphics drivers need to be updated.
• Make a new database of places.
• Duplicate Session Restore files should be deleted.
• System files that have been corrupted should be repaired.
