- Verify that your Firefox client is up to date. Click Help from the three-line menu in Firefox.To check if Firefox is up to date, go to About Firefox. If you answer yes, you will see a notice. If this is not the case, you will be given the option to update your browser.
- Restart with all add-ons turned off. If Firefox keeps crashing, it could be due to a malfunctioning plugin. You can repair this problem by restarting in Safe Mode with add-ons disabled. Go to Firefox's menu, select Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled, and then click Restart.
- Firefox should be uninstalled and reinstalled. Firefox can crash even in Safe Mode, therefore a clean install of Firefox on your Windows 10 machine is recommended.
