The Safari browser features a built-in tab management feature that closes all tabs after a certain amount of time. It's done mostly to save battery life and free up memory for other active tasks. However, as you might expect, when it comes to the tab autoclose problem, this function is frequently the main offender. As a result, it's best to keep this feature turned off on all of your devices.
  • On the iPhone, open the Phone Settings app.
  • From the Settings list, scroll down and pick the Safari app.
  • Why does Safari keep closing my open tabs?
  • To open the Close Tab option, go to the Tabs menu and select it.
  • Select Manually from the drop-down menu.
  • That's all; auto-closing of inactive tabs will be disabled instantly. Only when you manually close the tabs using the X from the tabs menu will they be closed.
