Wolf Volcano (also called Mount Whiton) is the tallest mountain in the Galápagos Islands, rising 1,707 meters above sea level on Isabela Island (5,600 ft). It's a barrier volcano with a distinctive soup-bowl form. The Wolf Volcano exploded on May 25, 2015, after being dormant for 33 years.
