Restart your computer and install the update.
  1. Go to the Start menu and then to Power.
  2. Restart or Update and Restart are the options.
  3. All open programs will be closed, any pending updates will be applied, and your computer will restart.

  2. Update and Security should be selected.
  3. On the left, pick Windows Update, then Check for Updates.
  4. When the system has finished checking for updates, it will download and install the most recent updates that are available.
  5. If the system prompts you to restart, please do so as soon as possible; otherwise, the update process will fail to complete.
