Follow these steps:
  1. Select Tools > Create PDF > Scanner > Autodetect Color Mode from the menu bar.
  2. Click the Settings icon if you want to scan multiple files into a PDF. The screen for Custom Scan appears. Check the box to prompt you to scan more pages.
  3. Select Scan.
  4. Select Scan More Pages, Scan Reverse Sides, or Scan Is Complete if you're prompted to scan more pages, then click OK.
