1. Open the Settings menu.
2. Select Update & Security from the drop-down menu.
3. Select Recovery.
4. Click the Get started option under the 'Reset this PC' section.
5. Select the option to keep my files.
6. Next, press the Next button.
7. (Optional) Select the option to remove a list of apps.
8. Check the apps that will need to be reinstalled after the factory reset.
9. Return to the previous page by pressing the Back button.
10. Reset the computer by pressing the Reset button.
11. The device will be reset to factory settings once you've completed the instructions.
