Here's how to do it:
  1. Select Edit from the menu bar.
  2. Select Preferences, then Accessibility from the drop-down menu.
  3. Select 'Use High Contrast Colors' from the drop-down menu.
  4. You can choose from four possibilities, one of which is 'white writing on black.'
  5. Make the necessary adjustments. Every new PDF document will now be opened in a color scheme that you specify.
