- Battery life is one of the useful improvements throughout the entire iPhone 13 family. That's one of the reasons Apple claims the 13 Pro can play video for three hours longer (22 hours) than the iPhone 13, which can only play video for 19 hours.
- You can disable the option that allows apps to refresh in the background to save battery life. To turn off Background App Refresh completely, go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh and pick Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi & Cellular Data, or Off.
- You can manually fetch data or increase the fetch interval if the Mail app lists Background Activity. Fetch New Data may be found in Settings > Accounts & Passwords > Fetch New Data.
- Apple promises that the iPhone 13 would last 2.5 hours longer on a single charge than the iPhone 12, and the iPhone 13 Pro will last 1.5 hours longer than the iPhone 12 Pro.
