1. Force the app to close.
The simplest solution to fix an app that keeps crashing on your Android phone is to force close it and then reopen it.
  • To do so, go to Settings -> Apps and pick the crashed app.
  • After that, tap the app's name and then 'Force stop.'
  • Now try reopening the app to verify whether it works properly.

2. Restart the computer.
Another option for resolving app crashes on your phone is to restart the device. The system's and other apps' processes will be killed and then restarted when the device is restarted. Apart from that, when you restart the device, it clears the memory, which can be useful.

3. Delete the app's data.
If the previous two methods haven't worked, try deleting the app's data. Select the app in Settings -> Apps and hit'Clear data' or 'Clear storage'. All data saved in the app will be deleted, and you will have to set it up again.

4. Reinstall the application.
If removing the app data does not solve the problem, you can reinstall the app. Simply remove the app and reinstall it from the Play Store.

5. Verify the app's permissions.
You can deny permissions sought by apps in newer Android versions. While most apps should operate even if you restrict rights, certain poorly built apps may refuse to run if you don't allow them all of the permissions they require.

6. Make sure your apps are up to date
App makers are constantly updating their programs. Bug fixes are included in these upgrades, which should resolve app crashing issues as well. As a result, it's a good idea to keep your apps up to date.

7. Clear cache
Android apps can build up large caches based on usage. While Android is designed to manage this on its own, sometimes clear cached data could drastically improve the performance of your phone as well as apps.

8. Free up storage space
Apps can sometimes crash when the storage space is not adequate. You will have to clear up your storage space by deleting unwanted apps and files. Go to Settings -> Apps to uninstall unwanted apps and games.

9. Factory reset
When nothing works, you can try resetting your device to see if it helps. Go to Settings -> About phone and tap on ‘Backup and Reset’. This will delete all the data on your device, so make sure you have a backup before you proceed further.
