Examine the iPhone's speaker. Select Sounds & Haptics from the Settings menu. To increase the volume, move the slider to the right under Ringers and Alerts. The iPhone speaker works if you hear a sound. If you don't hear anything, the equipment might need to be repaired.

Unmute your iPhone's calls. There are two positions on the Ring/Silent switch, often known as the Mute switch. The colour orange signifies that the switch is set to silent mode when pressed toward the back of the device. To turn on the sound, move the switch closer to the screen.

Restart the iPhone if you still don't hear anything. Turn the iPhone off and then back on to restart it.
