Why won't my phone let me open any apps?

Steps to fix it:

• Press and hold the Power button on most phones for roughly 30 seconds or until the phone restarts. It's possible that you'll need to press the Restart button.
• Open the Settings app on your phone .Tap System, then Advanced, and then System update near the bottom. You may need to tap About phone or About tablet, then Software update, depending on your phone. You'll be able to see your current update status.

• Go to Google Play and open the Google Play Store app. Tap the profile icon in the top right corner. Select Manage apps & devices from the drop-down menu. Choose whether to update all apps or a specific app under 'Updates available.'
