INDIA IS THE FIRST COUNTRY WHICH LAND THE MARS ORBIT IN ITS FIRST ATTEMPT
In the long run of successful attempts to enter the mars orbit by many counties, India may be in the long numbers but it succeeded in its first attempt and showed its compatibility all over the world which was the greatest pride for Indians.
MOM (MARS ORBITERS MISSION)
On November 5, 2013, ISRO (INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANIZATION) launched a mission `MOM’ with the help of PSLV-C25 AND successfully inserted into the orbit of the mars on September 24, 2014, in its first attempt and completed its 1000 Indian days on mars orbit on June 19, 2017. 1000 days of India is equal to the 973.24 Martian days and it covered a total of 388 orbits of mars.
ISRO has also launched a program of MOM ANNOUNCEMENT OPPORTUNITY (AO) for researchers in the country to use its data for research and development work.
The success of the Mars mission has affected the Indian student and scientists for their studies and research work .also a planetary data analysis workshop was conducted to enhance the research work of scientists and promote their interest in the field of space and science
PSLV-C25 (POLAR SATELLITE LAUNCH VEHICLE)
PSLV-25 is the twenty-fifth flight of PSLV and it launched its spacecraft from the first launch pad at Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota.
This is a launcher vehicle which used to launch rockets and devices in space .this launcher machine is operated by the INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANIZATION, in the previous time India used to launch its devices (rockets) with the help of only Russia but in 1993 India made its launcher vehicle and named it `PSLV’
The Mars mission is the biggest mission of PSLV-C25 in the history of space science in India.
