National Remote Sensing Center is located (NRSC) is located in Hyderabad, Telangana is one of the centers of the Indian Space Research Organisation which manages data from Aerial and Satellite sources.

National Remote sensing Center (NRSC)

It is situated in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh is a Department of Space that runs under the government of India. It is responsible for Remote Sensing Satellite Data Acquisition and, Processing, Data dissemination, aerial remote sensing, and decision support for disaster management.

It has a data reception station at Shadnagar, Hyderabad, and the main purpose of this center is to acquire data from the Indian Space Research Organisation’s Satellites and for others as well. Including the earth observation data from ISRO, it also stores earth observation datafrom the Remote Sensing Satellites and also from other satellites.

It is also engaged with the execution of Remote Sensing application projects with the users. The aerial service and Digital mapping area provide many platforms for the common people to see and research the various aspect of the Technology, it gives aerial photographic and digital mapping and provides end-to-end services.

It operates through multiple campuses to meet the national, international, and regional Remote Sensing data and also fulfill the needs of the applications in the country.

Main centers of National Remote Sensing Center

1- The main campus of NRSC is in Balanagar, Hyderabad, which operates the Remote Sensing Application and Aerial services.

2-The next campus of the NRSC is in Shadnagarfor data dissemination, data processing, data Reception, earth and climate studies, and disaster management support.

3-Sector-9 KBHB, Jodhpur also contains extra mini centers

•             Jodhpur (Regional center-west)
•             Sadiknagar, New Delhi (Reginal center North)
•             New salt lake city, Kolkata(Regional Center east)
•             Amaravathi Road, Nagpur(Regional center, cerntral)
•             Karthik Nagar, Bangalore (Regional center South)

4-At Jeedimetla, Hydrabad gives outreach facilities and provides training for professionals, faculty of students, and general outreach.

For all the facilities related to air traveling, there is an airport at Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad.
