A clash burst off among the border security forces & Naxals at the border between Sukma-Bijapur in Chhattisgarh after a group of jawans was attacked by Maoists near Jonnaguda town around midday. The troops were circulated and imprisoned along a 2 km lengthy stretched jungle area.

Officials ascertained that the encounter place was almost 15 km from the Tarrem base camp of border security forces.

Authorities also explained Naxals wielded light-weight machine guns (LMGs) & even rocket launchers during the messed-up encounter on BSF.

The trap was identical to the one ran by Naxals in Tadmetla in 2010 & Minapa which took place in 2020.

The Maoist PLGA Battalion was overseen by its governor Hidma. With entire courage of nearly 250, this group of Naxals assasins was assisted by insurgents correlated with the Maoist platoons of Pamed, Konta, Jagargunda, & Basaguda region conferences.

PM Narendra Modi had wished for the speedy recovery of the injured jawans suffering. 'My emotions are with the families of those martyred who lost their lives while battling Maoists in Chhattisgarh,' the Prime Minister had confessed in a tweet.

Naxals appear to retain decamped with the weapons, bullet-proof jackets, & even the boots of martyred warriors, administrators explained.
