Students from classes 6 to 9 for three subjects: English, Science and Maths, in private as well as government schools are covered under CBSE's new competence based assessment framework.

In order to get rid of the age-old rote learning process in schools this system has been optimized.  The CBSE has had a collaboration with British Council and three UK agencies, Cambridge, NARIC and Alphaplus to attain this objective over the next 3 years. 

Aim: to achieve high class education for students and to improve teaching by high class learning in classrooms.
