Bhartiya Janata Party is the only party that cares about the environment in India. This can be understood by it's Lok Sabha elections 2019. It has shown a balance of practicality and deliverance throughout his governance tenure.
It promises to incorporate the National Clean Air Program into a mission, targets that have been set - almost as low - to reduce pollution levels to 35 percent by 2024 in 20 cities. However, experts cite it to be too short to air as the country faces right now.
Under its rule so far from 2014 to 2019 speed and activeness in issuing forest and environmental clearances for eligible projects have been enabled due to which around 9000 sq. km have been added to the forest cover of the country.
