Do capital letters matter in URLs?

An Internet address is merely case sensitive for everything after the name . For example, it doesn't matter if you employ uppercase or lowercase with "computerhope.com," it still reaches an equivalent page. However, when typing the name of the page, file, or directory within the URL, it's case sensitive.
