Digital India launched on 1st July 2015 with the objective to deliver Government services to citizens electronically by improving online infrastructure and by increasing internet connectivity. Make In India launched on 25 September 2014 with the objective to encourage multi-national, as well as domestic companies to manufacture their products in India and create jobs and skill enhancement in 25 sectors.
The major purpose behind the initiative is to focus on job creation and skill enhancement in 25 sectors of the economy. The initiative also foucues at high quality standards and minimising the impact on the environment. To attract capital and technological investment in India is its main hope.
