Van Dhan Scheme was launched on 14th April 2018. The aim of this scheme is to harness non-timber forest produce and to utilise true wealth of forest and generate livelihood for tribal people and promote and hold the collective strength of tribals through Self Help Groups to achieve scale. Implementation of this scheme was planned 115 aspirational districts to utilise traditional knowledge and skill sets.  

Seva Bhoj Yojna was launched on 1st June 2018. 

Objective : Through SBY, Union government waives off GST on charitable religious institutions' purchase of raw materials such as ghee, edible oil, atta/maida/flour, rice pulses, sugar, burra fir Langar in holy places. Government also reimburses the amount spent for providing free food to the public.
