Religious destinations which have potential to be show-cased as world class tourism products are identified and infrastructure is developed on a priority basis through this mission.

Swadesh Darshan Yojna launched on 9th March 2015 in order to develop world class tourism infrastructure. As part of this scheme, theme based tourism circuits around specific themes such as religion, culture, ethnicity, niche etc. are identified for infrastructure development across the country.
