Where did Mahatma Gandhi IT and Biotechnology Park inaugurated?

The Mahatma Gandhi IT and Biotechnology Park (MGIT-BP) was jointly inaugurated in Cote d'Ivoire with the Ambassador of India, Cote d'Ivoire Salles Thangal and the country's Vice President Daniel Kablan Ducan.

The opening ceremony took place on 27 June. MGIT-BP is being built with the assistance of India and is a dedicated free trade area (FTZ) for IT and biotechnology.
It is being built with the help of India through EXIM Bank Lines Credit of US $ 20 million. It consists of two parts: (i) Architectural concept and design for FTZ buildings and construction of main building to host IT enterprises. It was implemented by Indian Conglomerate Construction Company Shapoorji Pallonji. (ii) Supply and commissioning of equipment including, computer assembly plant, human DNA lab, networking lab, data storage area network, VSAT (very small aperture terminal) including satellite earth station, audio-visual lab and power generator. It was implemented by an Indian company specializing in telecom networks, United Telecom Limited (UTL).
