The Asian Games will be held in Hangzhou, China, in 2022.

After Beijing in 1990 and Guangzhou in 2010, Hangzhou will be the third Chinese city to host the event.

The program will contain 46 sports, including the 33 that were featured at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, as well as six from Paris 2024, two proposed by the Local Organising Committee, and one from each of Asia's five regions.

Which of the following city going to host Asian Games 2022?

At the 2018 General Assembly in Jakarta, officials from the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) announced that the 2022 Asian Games will usher in a new era for Hangzhou.

The city is slated to undergo fast transformation with the completion of more than ten metro lines and two inter-city railroads by 2022.

It's all part of Hangzhou's larger ambition to become an international gateway city.

In September 2015, the OCA chose Hangzhou to host the 2022 Asian Games at its General Assembly in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

Hangzhou is the provincial capital of Zhejiang and the political, economic, and cultural hub of the region.

The city is situated on the lower sections of the Qiantang River in Southeast China and serves as the southern terminus of the Grand Canal.

Shanghai is only 180 kilometers away.

Hangzhou is served by Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, which is located 27 kilometers east of the city center.
