Story behind the WORLD WAR ONE:
The 7th May marks the anniversary of the sinking of the Cunard Liner Lusitania, which was torpedoed. Lusitania was one of a duo of Cunard ships that entered service in 1907.
British admiralty warned the Lusitania to avoid area & use the tactic of zigzagging, but the crew ignored recommendations.

Lusitania, an ocean liner that sunk on 7th May 1915 by a German submarine off the coast of Ireland 1198 people drowned including 128 US citizens. United state protested Germany’s action and on the other hand Germany limited its submarine campaign against Britain.Again Germany renewed unrestricted submarine warfare, the U.S. entered World War I in April 1917.
