Working on the source of your home Internet connection is probably the best place to start. The firmware on your network equipment (wireless router or modem) may have failed, rendering it unable to function as intended. Firmware crashes are generally fixed by restarting your computer, just like when your computer is acting up. To reboot or power cycle your wireless network or modem at home, follow these steps:

  1. Find the Power button/switch on your modem/wireless router and push it until the device turns off.
  2. Unplug the A/C adapter from the power source and keep it disconnected for 30 seconds to 1 minute while it's off.
  3. Then plug it in again and push the Power button to turn it on.
Wait until all of the light indicators have reached a state of equilibrium. Check to see if your iPhone is linked to Wi-Fi. Also, navigate to see whether it can already connect to the Internet. Try to browse multiple sites to ensure that everything is working as intended.
