- Both the computer and the iOS device should be restarted.
- Make that the PC has the most recent Windows update installed.
- Make sure you're using the most recent version of iTunes on your computer.
- With the exception of the keyboard and mouse, disconnect all USB accessories from your computer. Then restart your computer, launch iTunes, and plug your iOS device onto a separate USB port.
- Error 0xE8000065 could be caused by anti-malware software installed on the PC or iPhone. Update your security software or temporarily disable it on your computer.
- Connect your iPhone or iPad to a separate computer to see if the problem is isolated to your PC.
