Check your iPhone's Ring/Silent button. Many folks may have neglected the simple remedy of checking to see if this switch is set to quiet. If the Ring/Switch button on the upper left side of the phone is orange, it signifies the phone is in quiet mode, for those who are unaware. If required, return it to ringing mode.
Also, double-check that the volume on your iPhone is adjusted to the proper level. Open the Control Center on the lock screen to alter the volume level with the volume buttons or slider, and then adjust the volume to the appropriate level.

Remove anything hooked into the headphone jack on your iPhone. If you have something inserted or plugged into the headphone port, your iPhone, like any other device, will not ring when a call comes in.

Remove any covers or cases from third parties. Some iPhone accessories, particularly third-party varieties, may not fit your iPhone properly, causing problems such as no sound. If your iPhone is protected by a third-party shell or cover, try removing it and see what happens. The speaker is blocked by several iPhone cases or bumpers.
