Minor software issues are frequently resolved by a device reset, so if you haven't already, give it a go and see what occurs. A soft reset won't harm any of your iPhone's data, so it's completely safe.

  • Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds until the Slide to Power Off screen shows on your iPhone 7. To totally turn off your gadget, drag the slider. After 30 seconds, hit the Power button once more until you see the Apple logo.
You can execute a force reset instead if your smartphone becomes unusable due to the Mail app becoming frozen. It functions similarly to a soft reset, with the exception that the reboot is performed via the hardware keys.

  • To force your iPhone 7 to restart, press and hold the Power and Volume Down keys at the same time for around 10 seconds, then release both buttons after the Apple logo displays.
In certain circumstances, you may need to press the buttons for a longer period of time, such as 20 to 30 seconds, before the Apple logo appears on the screen.

Attempt to launch the Mail app when it has fully booted up, then open the email containing the attachment you desire to view. If you are still unable to watch it, try viewing it again.
