- Completely turn off your iPhone.
- Prepare the SIM card eject tool. If you don't have one, just straighten a little paper clip and use it in its place.
- On the right side of your iPhone, look for the SIM tray.
- In the little hole, place the SIM eject tool or a paper clip.
- Then place it carefully till the tray comes out.
- Remove the SIM card from the tray and set it aside.
- Examine the area for any evidence of damage. Replace the SIM card if there isn't one.
- Place the SIM card in the tray with the notched corner facing down and the gold contacts facing down.
- Gently slide the SIM tray back into the iPhone.
- To secure the tray, press down on it.
After you've reassembled everything, switch on your iPhone to see whether the problem has been resolved. If it doesn't work, your next option is to perform a full system restore or reset. Alternatively, take your iPhone to an authorized service facility and have it checked for any hardware damage by a professional.
