The steps to enable/disable VoLTE on your iPhone 8 are as follows:

  1. Go to any of the Home screens.
  2. Go to the Settings tab.
  3. Cellular should be tapped.
  4. Select Cellular Data Options from the drop-down menu.
  5. Enable LTE is the first option.
  6. Select Voice & Data (for VoLTE). Alternatively, you can choose from a variety of different possibilities. You can choose to use data only or turn off cellular data.
