- From the Home screen, choose Settings.
- Select General.
- Reset may be found by scrolling down and tapping it.
- Erasing all content and settings is the option to choose.
- Enter your device passcode if asked.
- Then press to check that the system settings have been reset.
You may also use iTunes on a computer to reset and restore factory defaults on your iPhone 8 Plus. If you want to back up your files to a computer before the reset, this is an option. If a master reset doesn't work, you may use iTunes to restore your iPhone using recovery mode or DFU mode.
