Turning Bluetooth on and off might also assist to resolve small issues with the phone's Bluetooth connectivity. It's as if you're restarting the feature and removing any faults so it can function correctly once again. Then here's what you should do:

  1. From the Home screen, choose Settings.
  2. Toggle on Bluetooth.
  3. Then, next to Bluetooth, touch the switch. If the switch is grey, you know it's turned off.
  4. To turn Bluetooth back on, press the switch again after a few seconds. The switch then changes to green, indicating that Bluetooth is turned on.
You may also use the Control Center to turn Bluetooth on and off. Simply open the Control Center from the Home screen, hit the Bluetooth symbol to turn it off, and then tap it again to turn it on. Another way to turn Bluetooth off and on is through Siri.
You are free to choose from any of these options. Try connecting your iPhone and Bluetooth device again after turning Bluetooth on and off to see if they can now pair or connect.
