When you back up your iPhone, you're making a backup of your data that you can restore if your device is damaged, lost, or replaced. You can back up your iPhone using iCloud or iTunes, whichever you want.

iCloud allows you to back up your iPhone 8 Plus apps
A Wi-Fi connection is required to create an iCloud backup. As a result, double-check that Wi-Fi is turned on and that your device is connected to the Internet. After you've confirmed that your device is connected, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the main menu and select 'Home.'
  2. Go to the Settings tab.
  3. Sign in with your Apple ID if asked.
  4. To continue, tap iCloud.
  5. Select the applications you wish to back up by sliding the slider next to them.
  6. To get to the bottom of the list, scroll down and then tap the iCloud Backup app.
  7. If disabled, tap the iCloud Backup option to enable it.
  8. Tap Back Up Now to start backing up the selected apps.

Wait until the backup is finished. Your apps will then be available on iCloud.
