- Type a name or ticker symbol in the search area of the Stocks programme on your Mac.
- Select the ticker symbol you want to add from the list of search results.
- On the right, you'll find more information about the ticker symbol.
- Near the upper-right corner, click the Add to Watchlist button.
- In some circumstances, the button is labelled Add, depending on the amount of available space in the window.
- Click the Delete button in the search area to clear the search field and return to your watchlist.
- The exchange on which the ticker symbol trades and the currency in which it trades are listed next to each entry in the search results list.
