I have the macbook pro 2017 without the touchbar. Will this work?

• Touch ID sensor built within the Touch Bar. Sensor for ambient light. For accurate cursor control and pressure sensing, use the Force Touch trackpad; it supports Force clicks, accelerators, pressure-sensitive sketching, and Multi-Touch gestures.
• To add, delete, or rearrange items in the Touch Bar, go to View > Customize Touch Bar. To the Touch Bar, add buttons. To add controls, drag them to the bottom of your screen and into the Touch Bar. When you're done, click the Done button on the screen.
• The Touch Bar is only available on MacBook Pro models with a 13-inch or 15-inch display.
