Nandan Nilekani is an Indian businessman, who co-founded Infosys and is right now the non executive chairman of the board. He was appointed as the non-executive chairman on 24 August 2017 after R Seshasayee and Ravi Venkatesan who were together chairing the board. He was earlier the chairman of UIDAI that is Unique Identification Authority of India. After an outstanding career at Infosys he led the technology committee, TAGUP of the Indian Government. He is also a member of the Indian national congress but is not active in politics.
