PM Narendra Modi delivered Jain Acharya Ratnasundersuriswarji Maharaj's book 'MARU BHARAT SARU BHARAT' on January 10, 2016. This is Ratnasundersuriswarji Maharaj's 300th book.
Sahitya Satkar Samiti of Ratnatrayee Trust in Mumbai hosted the book releasing event.
On January 5, 1948, Ratnasundarsuri, an Indian Jain monk, activist, and
Gujarati
language writer was born. He is well-known for his presentations on spirituality and social issues. Ratnasundarsuri was born in
Palitana's Depla village. In 1967, Bhuvanbhanusuri initiated him into
asceticism. In 1996, he was given the title of Acharya. Beginning in
2006, he spent four years in Delhi. He initiated a petition in 2011
to prohibit India from exporting meat. He petitioned the Rajya Sabha in July 2013 to prohibit
sex education and internet pornography.
Despite being a holy saint, he has published a number of visionary works for the individual's and society's socio-cultural upliftment. He has authored over
333 books on a range of themes to date, and he holds the Guinness World Record
for authoring more than 300 volumes in a single language,
Gujarati. His most well-known work is Lakhi Rakho Aras Ni Takata Par. It has been translated into
Hindi,
English, Urdu, Marathi, French, and German, among other languages. His televised talks are well-received.
In 2017, the Government of India awarded him the Padma Bhushan, the country's
third-highest civilian honor, for his contributions to spirituality.
