Christopher Andrew 'Chris' Hoy, MBE (born March 23, 1976) is a British racing driver and former track cyclist who competed for Great Britain in the Olympics and World Championships, as well as for Scotland in the Commonwealth Games. Hoy has won eleven world championships and six Olympic medals. Hoy is the most decorated Olympic cyclist of all time, having won seven medals in total, six gold and one silver.

With winning three gold medals at the 2008 Summer Olympics, Hoy became Scotland's most successful Olympian, the first British athlete to win three gold medals in a single Olympic Games since Henry Taylor in 1908, and the most successful Olympic cyclist of all time. After winning two more gold medals (in the keirin and team sprint) at the 2012 Summer Olympics, Hoy now has more Olympic gold medals (six) and overall medals (seven, tied with fellow cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins) than any other British athlete.
