Hull is widely recognized as one of the best ice hockey players of all time, and maybe the greatest left winger in history. Hull was recognized for his golden hair, dazzling skating speed, and having the game's fastest shot, earning him the moniker 'the Golden Jet.'

Hull spent 17 seasons in the NHL, 15 with the Chicago Black Hawks, 1 season with the Winnipeg Jets, and 1 season with the Hartford Whalers.
In 1983, Hull was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
