The United States Senate has been home to some of the most influential and powerful people in American politics. From the early days of the Republic to the present, the Senate has been a body of government that has shaped the course of our nation. The Senate is often considered a stodgy, stuffy institution, but it has been home to some of the biggest names in American politics. When it comes to the United States Senate, a few names stand out above the rest. These men and women have dedicated their lives to public service and have achieved great things while in office. 

Here are just a few of the giants of the Senate.  First, there is Senator John McCain of Arizona. Senator McCain is a decorated war hero and has been a vocal advocate for military reform over the years. He also served as the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee and was a key figure in the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act.

Second, there is Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. Senator Graham is a strong supporter of the military and has worked tirelessly to promote its interests. He is also a key figure in the Senate Judiciary Committee and has been a vocal critic of the Obama administration.

Third, there is Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky. Senator Paul is a physician and a leading voice in the fight against Obamacare. He is also a strong supporter of small government and has been a vocal critic of government spending.

Finally, there is Senator Mike Lee of Utah. Senator Lee is a constitutional lawyer and has been a leading voice in the fight against government overreach. He is also a strong supporter of the free market and has been a vocal critic of government intervention.
