Bhanu Kumar Shastri, who passed away recently, was the former MP of which constituency in Rajasthan?

Late Bhanu Kumar Shastri was the founder of Bhartiya Jan Sangh which is now known as the Bhartiya Janata Party. He passed away on 24 February 2018. He was 93 years old and was suffering from prolonged illness. He represented the Udaipur Loksabha constituency. Bhanu Shastri played a vital role in establishing the party roots in the once Congress dominated the state of Rajasthan. He also served as the Chairman of the Khadi board.

He was born on 29 October 1925. His final rituals were done at Ashok Nagar crematorium. His well-wishers were present during his last rites. He was also the head of state Jan Sangh. He was also a BJP veteran who served his party at the state as well as the national level. Major party leaders condoled his death.

He was a close ally of Late Bhairav Singh Shekhawat who was also known as "Bhabhosa" which means father of Rajasthan and also served as it's CM on different occasions. Both of them started their career as R5S pracharaks.,
