However, many times people are seen not accepting the fact that they are spiritual because of the following reasons-
• Either they are confused between ‘spirituality’ and ‘religion’. They may state spirituality in what they follow as religious practices, like: chanting, singing hymns, reading religious scriptures, etc.\
• Or they are not truly devoted to themselves. A person who is practicing spirituality in his life knows his inner self very well; his thoughts, his triggers, his high & low points, his learning mechanisms, his cravings, etc. But when they are just doing it to show-off to the world, they may fake it also. Remember that being spiritual doesn’t benefit anybody but your own self. It you for you.
• They are ashamed to tell the world about the spiritual practices they follow. If this is the case, then understand the previous point that you’re not doing it for anyone else. There is no need to show or hide yourself, or be ashamed or being spiritual.
Spirituality is practiced in almost every corner of the world. And despite of anyone accepting it, it is a personal choice. It is defined by the small acts you do for yourself or others in need.
“Spirituality is not about to become special; it is about becoming one with everything.” – Sadhguru
