TIME LAPSE PANORAMA
You can make a time-lapse and panorama rig by a simple hack, All you need to have a cheap egg timer for mounting your camera on . If you have a Go PRO CAMERA all you need to do is attach the camera mount on your egg timer, lock your camera in place and wind up the timer . SET YOUR CAMERA TO TIME LAPSE AND SHOOT AWAY TO PERFECTION. In case of regular cameras you can use hot glue mount a camera attachment to get some really great panorama photos while using burst mode.
ART FILTERS
Adding filters to your existing camera can make some really beautiful portrait shots. Each filters cost you a bomb. So, why not make it simple, Take a highly transparent sheet of plastic and scribble around the center and colored pens. When done tear a hole in the middle and mount the plastic over the camera lens with an elastic band. Now focus on your object and enjoy the colorful effects in the background.
BLUR EFFECT
Creating a blur effect on your subject is similar to time lapse panorama. But to make it even simple all you need is a regular filter( a UV filter works best) and some Vaseline. Mount the UV filter, apply Vaseline around the lens in a straight line (cross ways) by using your own imagination. Make sure you don’t apply Vaseline center of the lens. THAT’S IT SHOOT YOUR OBJECT AND SEE THE EFFECT TAKES LIFE.
NEUTRAL DENSITY FILTER
A ND filter actually help the photographer to combination of aperture, exposer time and sensor sensitivity to reduce overexposure. All you need to do it mount the glass on your camera lens hood with the elastic bands and set your camera to shoot your object with longer exposer timer. The welding glass will allow less light through, allowing you to shoot higher exposeer time.
EMERGENCY STRING TRIPOD
A tripod is basically meant to shoot sturdy shot and negate shaking hands. All you need to is a simple hack using a fairy ling string. Take a long piece of strong thread and loop it via the mount hole using a screw. Now let your string stretch under your feet to the camera. Firmly stretch your feet so that thee camera is firm and held strong. This will help diminish and hands trembling to keep your shots stable.
LENS FLARE
Adding a little lens flare in your photos is a pretty simple process to do in camera. Just hold a lighter in front of your lens frame up of your shot and voila lens flare
If you don’t fancy holding a lighter in front of your lens try a small flashlight aimed down the barrel of your lens for a similar result.
