Who had invented the planet Uranus?

Frederick William Herschel who was a British astronomer and composer of German and Czech-Jewish origin invented the planet Uranus. William Herschel was born on 15 November 1738 and he followed his father into the Military Band of Hanover. Before shifting to Great Britain in the year 1757 at the age of nineteen.

Who had invented the planet Uranus?

He constructed his first giant telescope in the year 1774 and after creating that telescope he spent 9 years in surveying the sky and engaged himself in investigating double stars.

Herschel telescopes were having immense power and revealed that nebulae in the Messier catalogue were clusters of stars and in the course of his observation, he found that one celestial body which he had observed is not a star but is a planet which now we know as Uranus.
