Jerome Hayden Powell has been sworn-in as the new Chairman of the Federal Reserve. Born on 4th Feb 1953 Jerome is a former investment banker and now has been assigned as Chairman of the Federal Reserve. He was nominated by American President Donald Trump for this position and later as he was also been confirmed by the United States Senate.
Jerome Hayden Powell received Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in the year 1979 and after 5 years he switched himself towards investment banking in the year 1984 and since then worked he worked for variant financial bodies.
He played an integral role in and served as the Under Secretary of the Treasury for Domestic Finance at the time when H.W Bush in the year 1992. Jerome has also served as the member of Federal Reserve Board of Governors.
