Mumbai is located in the tropical zone of our globe and that’s the reason Mumbai experiences a tropical wet and dry climate. Mumbai can be described as a moderately hot with high level of humidity.

Why is Mumbai never too hot nor too Cold?

Humidity is one of the major factors which makes human feel hotter or colder. During summer considering the proximity of Mumbai to sea, it is relatively more humid than the inner regions thus making the days sultry. During winter humidity over Mumbai makes you feel that the temperature over Mumbai as warm.
This weather pattern is alike for any tropical coastal cities not only to Mumbai!
